Overview Kongs Moneytrees Other Breaks

Known as one of the best and most powerful left-handers in the world, G-Land is the number one attraction at Joyo’s Surf Camp. This wave is suited to intermediate surfers and has three main sections, depending on the tide and swell. G-Land performs best in southerly swells and wind from the southeast to northwest, depending on the time of year.

Kongs

The outside reef section, Kongs is surfable at low tide up to the limits of your courage! This wave connects with Moneytrees on huge swells.

Moneytrees

This is the prime take-off point for G-Land. From this section, the wave lifts at an inside peak called Launching Pads, then reaches top speed and its climax on an inside wedge and long-running section that has been appropriately named Speedies. It’s this shallow Speedies section that has produced some of the most insane adrenaline-pumping barrel rides yet.

Other Breaks

There are a couple of other novelty breaks at G-Land, including Chickens, 20/20s and a nice right-hander named Tiger Trails, which is popular with natural footers and a nice change from the more intimidating main break.
