I enjoyed the recipe as written with one change. Added teaspoon of chicken bullion to the soup. This made is less bland for me. A good fish for a sensitive old stomach 🙃

The first time I tried this, I became very frustrated because I used uncooked brown rice instead of instant rice and the rice failed to cook (haha I feel so stupid )... the second time I made this I used 2 cups of cooked brown rice and it worked perfectly, and was delicious!

Decent flavor, super easy to put together, but I cooked it an extra 10 minutes and the rice was still not done. I think this needs to be covered in order for the rice to cook properly, and stirred halfway through. I added leftover roasted chicken to make it a complete meal.

Made this for my son's end of season baseball party and it was a huge hit. I took a short cut and put the dish in the microwave for about 10 minutes, stirred everything together and then put it in the oven for about 20 minutes. So I cut the cooking time down and everything still got cooked. Awesome Dish.

Wow, this is one of the most unappealing CL recipes I've ever tried. We had to throw it out and make a frozen pizza! I guess it's not for everyone (although I like all those ingredients and really love cheesy comfort food...oh well).

I made this with a few modifications - 2cups of brown rice and fresh steamed broccoli. I wasn't crazy about the Velveeta cheese and would substitute something creamy like fontina and cheddar next time. Served it with roasted lemon pepper bone-in chicken breasts!

People LOVE this recipe, especially grandchildren. I don't usually use Minute Rice, Velveeta, or cream of mushroom soup, but . . . this works and everyone's happy. I add more liquid, and cover the dish while baking.

My husband and I both enjoyed this dish. I used fresh blanched broccoli and parboiled rice and added a little more liquid. I will definately make it again and again.

I have been cooking things from cooking light for about three years and have never found a recipe I didn't like, until now... I followed this recipe exactly and I hated it. As written, the onions don't quite cook right and tasted way too strong, the cheese all melted at the bottom of the dish instead of throughout the dish... overall it was just bad. I think there are ways to fix it...possibly melting the butter, cheese and milk together, saute the onions before putting them in... maybe that would help... but as written, I didn't like it at all!

I made this dish for Thanksgiving this year and it was so easy to make and everyone liked it. Great side dish when you are short on time. I will make this again!

Was quick and easy to prepare. Husband ate it all and he's not a broccoli fan. Used fresh broccoli and parboiled rice and added 1 cup broth. Put everything together in the morn and stored in the refrigerator till late eve I baked for a little over an hr.

I gave it three stars only because I'm not sure it's special enough for a big occasion, but it was very quick, easy and tasty. The only change I made was using real broccoli, and only about 1 pound of it. It was done after 40 minutes.

Great recipe! I used fresh broccoli and added it directly into the cheese-soup mixture and then into the oven. It was fantastic and my husband asked me to please make it again.

Mmmm, very yummy dish! Followed recipe exactly & it turned out great! Very easy & quick to assemble!
